West Coast Kiteboarding Locations
There are many kiteboarding locations on the West Coast places where there are trade winds and venturi winds for kiteboarders to enjoy. Around Greater Vancouver, there is Squamish, kiteboarding Jerico, Boundry Bay as well as a few spots near Downtown Vancouver. Further south, there are hundreds of spots on the Kiteboarding Oregon Coast, such as Manzanita and Florence. You can also travel inland to kiteboard in the Gorge around Hood River. Unfortunatly as the sport grows there is more concern about the dangers of the sport. There are many by standerds that walk the beach with there dogs and are not shure what to expect from kites being launched and landed on the beach.

As the sport of kitesurfing grows in vancouver and greater vancouver area the s pots are going to get more crowded with kitesurfers. But in the next few years the areas around Vancouver might get closed for learning how to kitesurf because people are not learning proplerly and are at risk to them selves and other by standers.
